Mayor Patrick Eberhardt was appointed to complete the tenure of Merle LeSage in January of 2005. Mayor Eberhardt ran for election at the end of that two year term and was elected in 2006. Mayor Eberhardt was re-elected in 2008.The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City of Geneseo.
