City Clerk

The Office of the City Clerk is a full-time appointed position in the City of Geneseo. The responsibilities of the City Clerk include assistance in the preparation of the City Council agenda and minutes, assisting in the compilation of the agenda and minutes for the Zoning Board of Appeals. As well, the Clerk processes City Liquor Licenses for the Liquor Commissioner, is the Chief Elections Officer for the City, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, and is responsible for the management, retention and maintenance of legal records. Other duties include scheduling of Ice Cream Socials, processing electric licenses and performing other regular business of the legislative body. The City Clerk may be contacted at 309.944.6419.
