Resident Yard Waste Disposal:
The disposal site will be open for City of Geneseo Refuse Customers during 3 Spring Saturdays and 6 Fall Saturdays from 8:00am – Noon (SEE CURRENT ANNOUNCED DATES ON THE GRAPHIC BELOW). Refuse customers must provide proof of residency within the corporate limits of the City of Geneseo at the gate to gain entry. The following items are allowed for customer disposal at the site:
- Leaf Disposal: Leaves may be bagged in kraft bags or unbagged to be disposed of at the site.
- Brush Disposal: Brush is defined as wooden materials including sticks, tree limbs, and shrub trimmings. All materials must be cut down to 5’ sections (or less) to be disposed at the site.
Organization & Contractor Annual Dumping Agreements:
Organizations may gain access to the site year-round, by completing an annual application/agreement at City Hall. Organizations are charged $100 annually, per key requested, for the gate at the facility. Each load brought on site will be charged monthly to the organization, in the amount of $30.00/load. Additional details and rules listed below:
- $100 Base Annual Key Fee (per key)
- $30/Load Charge – Tracked via gate access monthly and billed out monthly

- Rules for the Annual Access Agreement:
- No vehicle/load piggy backing allowed. One key swipe = one vehicle load being granted entry access.
- Only Tree Debris collected from City of Geneseo properties allowed.
- Any piling location/brush sizing requirements established by Public Works must be followed.
- All vehicle/trailer license plates being used to enter facility must be registered on the annual access agreement.
- Access will be spot audited using on-site cameras.
- Insurance certificate naming the city as an additional insured party must be kept on file with the city.
- Violation of rules will result in suspension or termination of key access to the site.
